Food was amazing! Service was great! The best salsa in town!

Absolutely delicious! Wonderful lunch date with my husband. Patricia our server was so nice and polite. The food was absolutely great. My husband had a pork burrito. He said the meat was tender. He truly enjoyed every bite. I had a chicken chimichunga which I loved. Definitely will recommend this place to friends and family. We already plan on returning.

Everything in the picture was really good, except the tortilla soup. It was way too light on chicken, no flavor just just a slice or 2 of avocado. The rest of the food was really, really good. Service unfortunately was awful. He was obviously expecting 20% or more, which I typically do for even good service. This guy was providing just a bare minimum and seemed to be milking us with a smile and nothing more. The hostesses we're great, but the server needs some training or to be let go. He brought the quality of everything down.

The Chile Rellenos were fantastic. Service was prompt and friendly. Only reason I downgraded the atmosphere was because the seats in the booths are a bit worn and cracked.

My party of 3 came in 30min before closing and service was fast, food was fresh, and the waitress was very friendly. It was a great dinner to end the night. The summer salad was flavorful!

Decor is fabulous. Food is as authentic and flavorful as any Mexican I’ve had west of the Mississippi. And the story of the restaurant’s founder was a compelling read as we enjoyed our meal on a rainy Sunday in Louisville. Definitely a must-stop for Mexican in Bourbon City.

Loved loved loved this food. The salsa was amazing! The servers were kind and smiling. Tables were spread out nice, plenty of room for customers. We back the the next night because it was so good! Look at the pics I posted!!!

This was excellent. I had the Enchiladas Verde with ground beef. It was so flavorful. A lot of Mexican restaurants leave the flavor out of the food because they don't want to drive someone away with a little spice. The salsa for the chips was definitely kicked up a notch. I usually have to ask for bottled hot sauce to add to the salsa, but not here. I dont understand why Mexican restaurants don't salt their chips when they come out of the fryer. Not a ding on these guys, cuz they all do it. I highly recommend this place, try it out. Oh, and the service was excellent.
